• In January, our 7th graders entered an essay contest sponsered by the Maine Municipal Association.  Seventh graders from all over the state entered the contest, the topic of which was “If I led my community…”  From all of those entries, only four winners were chosen, and one of those winners was our very own Greg Penn.  In addition to a letter from the MMA and a fancy certificate, Greg was awarded a $250 pre-paid Visa card (that’s right – $250, not $25!).  Greenbush Town Manager Jerry Davis was at our Town Hall Meeting on Friday to present Greg with his prize.  As you can imagine, Greg was thrilled, and we are very excited for him.  Please congratulate Greg the next time you see  him.
